Love your hair when you leave the salon but can’t manage to do it yourself at home? This month we would like to share some tips and a tutorial on how to create the Cool Girl Wave at home using your GHD Styler.

Here’s how (video tutorial also below):

  1. Prep the hair with a curl hold spray (We love Oribe’s Soft Lacquer Spray)
  2. Section hair from ear to ear
  3. Place GHD at root, turn inwards, glide then release after 2-3 seconds
  4. Shaken hair to loosen curls
  5. Place GHD below first twist, and repeat steps 3 and 4
  6. Repeat in top section, leaving out around the face
  7. Curl front section away from the face
  8. Spritz fine tooth comb or light bristle brush with a shine spray (Davines Shimmering Mist is amazing!)
  9. Lightly brush hair
